I have finally posted the vegas trip that we took.Sorry for the delay was having some computer problems.Video card gave out and pictures were not loading on overblog.
I do not have any travel plans for at least the next month.I am going to start my pages on one of my favorite places I have visited.Honestly I am scared because I am not sure my writings can do it justice.The destination is Turkey.The people,the places, the history and the food have pretty high ratings in my book.So be patient while I dig up the pictures and write my adventures!

Sorry everyone it has been a while since I have updated. I have been busy planning trips and working to help pay for them and enjoying one of them. For my birthday present this year my husband told me we were going to go to a Chinese restaurant that he has been talking about for years. P F Changs. He had the pleasure of dining at one in Fort Lauderdale in Florida. Well we do not have one in Western Canada, so he springs on me that we are going to Las Vegas for dinner and stay a few days too. Nice! So we are now back. My adventures will be blogged on the pages on the right under Las vegas in the next day or so. Please come read and write back I would love to hear about others trips to Sin city as well!

My thoughts are with the passengers of the carnival cruise that ran a ground on Friday near Tuscany.Regardless of the whys and hows this is a tragic event for all involved.Prayers are with the families of the missing and families who lost their loved ones.Quick recovery wished for the injured as well.Hopefully the mistakes here can be learned from so that this does not happen again.

I have just finished the Danube Bend day trip page with pictures.This was a very relaxing day outside of Budapest.We had the best weather for this trip being warm with no clouds.September was a great time to visit.Not too crowded and still summery weather.The page is under Hungary on the right.Please enjoy.

Holidays are wrapping up soon and I wanted to post a Happy New Year to all! The biggest medieval fortress in Europe, standing atop the Festung mountain in Salzburg. You would think we were visiting some fantasy Camelot or Lord of the rings stronghold.But no, it has its own history and scenery the likes of which are ranked pretty high up on my list of places to see.
